oh the places you find plants

I found a new plant on the top of the dumpster near my apt.
Dumpster diving or at least snatching from the top is awesome and a great way to get things for free that you need or can sell that are already used and therefore you are not adding to the creation of more stuff and you are keeping something out of a landfill. Everyone should go get stuff out of dumpsters!!! I also found carpet and a big pot which i will need in the future because a few of my plants will become very large but that is for another post.
I have no idea what it is but its in a hanging basket and it has the prettiest purple pink flowers. I think I'm going to have to bring it inside for the winter which may pose a difficulty if it has to remain hanging. Well, in actuality even if it doesn't have to remain hanging the pot is too big for my windowsill that I am using for plants at the moment. This being one of the few places the demon spawn known as Avalon and Pischa (my cats) won't get into the plants. I'd post a picture but I have no idea how to get them off my phone. Here begings the saga of the purple-pink-flowered-hanging-basket-dumpster-plant.
P.S. anyone know how to clean carpet that has been chilling outside for who knows how long that I want to bring inside and place strategically around the house so the cats stop ripping up my carpet???

Welcome

Well, first off...Hi! This blog is going to be full of Pagan/gardening/wildlife/vegetarian/cooking stuff. Really its just to help me stay interested in my own life. I realize that sounds a bit odd but there it is. I am a senior in college faced with the daunting reality that by May I will be graduating and getting a real job so in order to stave off the panic I will be focusing on things that excite me in good ways that do not induce terror and therefore keep me from running through campus screaming and crying. It will be a way to get my ideas out of my own head and into semi-coherent thoughts. It will be a place for me to be completely goofy about my plants and make bizzare sounding connections to Deity through the plants. It will be about my views as a pagan/vegetarian/environmental type, I don't want you thinking that I am going to scream at you from my soap box to be veggie and stop destroying the world....heck no. This is more of a this is how I see the world...lets talk. I won't be bashing any people, I am a firm believer that everyone has thier own path and it is right only for them and no one else, that being said no one else can critisize that person's path (ie. religion, dietary habits, hair color...what have you). So obviously I have a pretty broad amalgamation of stuff to talk about, its gonna be interesting.
